The Android version is only in Experimental test stage and requires some settings to be changed on your device to run it properly.
There are 2 individual versions which are using different graphics API. One is based on the latest Vulkan API which is running faster but it is compatible with less devices and the other is using the OpenGL ES 3.
You can check if your device is compatible with Vulkan or OpenGL ES 3 by following this video guide.
The minimum requirements are the following:
Quad core CPU, GPU with at least OpenGL ES 3 compatibility, 3GB RAM, 2GB Free Space on either internal or external memory.
To be able to install the downloaded RDS APK you should enable installing applications from unknown source.
You can see how to enable this feature on this video guide
To get the best performance it is recommended to lower the FHD+ or even larger screen resolution to HD by entering Settings on your device and choosing Display & brightness then Screen resolution. Set from High to Low.
You can see how to change Screen Resoluton on your device on this video guide
Sometimes RDS can unexpecdetly quit when loading larger maps. This happens because there's no enough memory (RAM) available on your decive. You can use a free RAM Cleaner application of your choice (for example RAM Cleanup) before running RDS. They can be downloaded from Play Store.
Created Custom Maps can be found in File Manager:
Android / data / com.RDS.RealDroneSimulator / files / CustomMaps
You can manually copy / exchange these map files between computer and mobile versions.
After checking your device's graphics API compatibility choose from the 2 downloadable versions:
